Is there a better present?

Charlie Bear here with a special Christmas greeting.

Charlie Bear the Present 2012

May you have a wonderful, fulfilling, merry and joyous couple of days with your family, friends, and loved ones. Sometimes things are not always the way we want them to be. Sometimes we have to make adjustments in our expectations. Sometimes we have to have acceptance in abundance.

Mom and Dad Peep say that I’m a great present to them. I say, nope, that’s not the case. They’re the best present to me. See, without them I’d be on the streets in LA, starving for attention, foraging for food, cold and alone. I have LOTS to be grateful for.

Mom Peep tries to always be positive, but there’s something that’s bothering her a lot. This joyous time of year can also be filled with sadness. Mom Peep’s Mom went to heaven on Dec. 20 just two years ago, and that’s sad for her, but losing a mom is a lot different from losing a child. Mom’s heart is heavy with tears for those who have lost special little loved ones this holiday season. So it is in many households that sadness rocks their Christmas world. There are no words to say to make it better. May God comfort each and every Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, Uncle, and family who have lost someone special.

And may you have a special Christmas.
Love to ALL.

Wiggles and Woofs,
Charlie Bear (and Mom and Dad Peep too!)

Charlie, you be sure to give your Mom peep lots of loving so she’ll be comforted by your presence…….

Hope you had a warm Christmas; it was cold on my Christmas vacation in Georgia!

      Julie,
Mom Peep says you are very special to her as well. I guess you humans have strong bonds as well…different, but kind of a little like ours, huh?

Charlie Bear, BJ and Roger; We had Christmas here a little early, stuffed to much on the bird, lots of things to be thankful for though, visiting with families & friends. Is a sad time this year though with so many sad things happening, but still many things to be thankful for and it is still the best Country to live in throughout “The Whole Wide World”, don’t you think? Take care of yourself, BJ & Roger and have a “Blessed ‘Happy New Year'”.

      Alice,
Yes, Mom and Dad Peep and I think this is the best place in the whole wide world, especially when Mom sneaks little bits of turkey into my kibble when no one was looking!
Happy Holidays to you and yours.

My mom peep, is always a little sad this time of year, too. She lost her hubby a little over two years ago and Christmas was his favorite time of year. But she has so many good memories that she can hold close to her heart and she knows that she will be with him again someday, just like your mom peep will be with her mother again and then it will be forever. In the meantime she lifts up others who have lost loved ones in prayer for God’s comfort during the difficult holiday season.

Best wishes to you and yours for a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.

    Your pal,
    Jake

      Jake,
Yup, it’s a little bit sad for those we have lost, like your Mom Peep’s hubby and my Mom Peep’s Mom, but LOTS of good, happy memories like you said!
      Have a fun-filled day,
      Wiggles and Woofs,

Bailey and Skippy send you best wishes from central PA, where it’s snowing at the moment, and we can’t wait to go out and play in it. May God bless your ministry to the Peeps this year, Charlie Bear.

      Bailey and Skippy,
Have frolicking fun in the white, fluffy stuff! I’m helping Mom Peep stuff a big ‘ole bird for a holiday dinner. I hope I get a little piece of drumstick later!
Thank you for blessing my ministry to my Peeps. I sure do love them to pieces, like I know you love your peep too.
Wiggles & Woofs, and hugs to Marsha from my Mom,

Just heard about the two volunteer firefighters in New York State who won’t be coming home again after responding to a house fire. So much sadness, but also a time to be thankful. Thanks, Charlie Bear and mom and dad peep. i wish you a Blessed Christmas. From Shadow and Sadie, too

      Sadie and Shadow and Marianne,
Many hugs to you as we all hunker down against the sadness in the world and raise an eggnog toast to the happiness and thankfulness that is there as well. Blessings to you all.
      Wiggles and woofs,
      Charlie Bear & B.J.
